  1. 1. Electromagnetic Interference in Modern Electrified Railway Systems with Emphasis on Pantograph Arcing

    Författare :Surajit Midya; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIKVETENSKAP;

    Sammanfattning : Electrified railways are undergoing rapid modernized in terms of increased speed, freight capacity and increased traffic. Traction systems are spread across countries with different signaling and power feeding systems. Signalling systems are undergoing modernization and now-a-days are more dependent on wireless and radio based services. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Conducted and Radiated Electromagnetic Interference in Modern Electrified Railways with Emphasis on Pantograph Arcing

    Författare :Surajit Midya; Rajeev Thottappillil; György Varju; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Electronic measurement and instrumentation; Elektronisk mät- och apparatteknik;

    Sammanfattning : Arcing from the pantograph, a commonly observed phenomenon, is knownto be a major source of wideband electromagnetic emission which is more pronounced during the winter. Experience within the railway industry has shown that this source of EMI and its characteristics need to be understood thoroughly for solving the associated EMI issues in the desired fashion. 4. 4. Modelling and simulation of pantograph-catenary dynamics

    Författare :Lars Drugge; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Datorstödd maskinkonstruktion; Computer Aided Design;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis considers theoretical and experimental investigations of the dynamic behaviour of pantograph-catenary systems for trains and its relation to simulation driven product development. The pantograph and catenary form an oscillating system that is coupled via the contact force between the pantograph head and the contact wire. LÄS MER
