   Sammanfattning : The commensal microbiota has both beneficial and negative effects on the host. It is a source of infectious and inflammatory microorganisms, but may also provide immune stimulation during a critical period during early infancy that possibly offers protection against allergy and other immune mediated diseases.    Sammanfattning : The aim of the present study is, firstly, to investigate the amount of Swedish and French that is produced by teachers and students in the foreign language classroom and, secondly, to examine in which situations the interlocutors code-switch and for what purposes the two languages are used.    Sammanfattning : This thesis reports on a study, which investigated the process of early foreign language learning in a classroom context and the functions of multi-word units of language known as formulaic sequences in the oral language production of young foreign language learners.
