  1. 16. Aspects of the Design of Preparative Chromatography for Purification of Antibodies

    Författare :David Karlsson; Avdelningen för kemiteknik; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Kemiteknik och kemisk teknologi; ion-exchange chromatography; adsorption kinetics; gels; model calibration; robustness analysis; optimisation; ESPI; diffusion; steric mass action; Langmuir MPM; antibodies; design; Preparative chromatography; modelling; proteins; Chemical technology and engineering;

    Sammanfattning : The development of biotechnological products is becoming more and more expensive. One type of protein attracting a great deal of attention in the biopharmaceutical industry is antibodies, which was used in this work. LÄS MER

  2. 17. Multi-Robot Motion Planning Optimisation for Handling Sheet Metal Parts

    Författare :Emile Glorieux; Bengt Lennartson; Fredrik Danielsson; Bo Svensson; Högskolan Väst; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Multi-robot systems; motion planning; modelling and simulation; optimisation; Production Technology; Produktionsteknik; Manufacturing and materials engineering; Produktions- och materialteknik;

    Sammanfattning : Motion planning for robot operations is concerned with path planning and trajectory generation. In multi-robot systems, i.e. with multiple robots operating simultaneously in a shared workspace, the motion planning also needs to coordinate the robots' motions to avoid collisions between them. 3. 18. Life Cycle Energy Optimisation: A multidisciplinary engineering design optimisation framework for sustainable vehicle development

    Författare :Hamza Bouchouireb; Ciarán J. O'Reilly; Peter Göransson; Rupert J. Baumgartner; José Potting; Mario Hirz; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Life cycle energy optimisation; Multidisciplinary optimisation; Integrative design; Sustainable vehicle design; Functional conflicts; Vehicle aerodynamics; Battery energy storage systems; Robust design; Uncertainty propagation; Livscykelenergi; Fordonsdesign; Optimering; Tvär-funktionella konflikter; Farkostteknik; Vehicle and Maritime Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis explores how the systemic-level environmental footprint of light-duty vehicles could be reduced through integrative design using the Life Cycle Energy Optimisation (LCEO) methodology. This methodology aims at finding a design solution that uses a minimum amount of cumulative energy demand over the different phases of the vehicle's life cycle; while complying with a set of functional constraints, thereby avoiding any sub-optimal energy demand shifts between the vehicle's different life cycle phases. Sammanfattning : Efficient waste management enables the protection of human health, reducing environmental pollution, saving of natural resources, and achieving sustainable and profitable management of energy. In many countries, the general guidelines for waste management are set by national or local waste management plans. LÄS MER

  5. 20. Optimisation of Local and National Energy Systems : Development and Use of the MODEST Model

    Författare :Dag Henning; Carl-Johan Fogelholm; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY;

    Sammanfattning : Energy may be supplied by a multitude of components. Computer simulation helps in finding a beneficial system design. The energy-system optimisation model MODEST has been developed, and it has been applied to municipal, regional, and national energy systems. LÄS MER
