21. Partial Discharges Studied with Variable Frequency of the Applied Voltage
Sammanfattning : This thesis concerns partial discharge (PD) diagnostics withvariable frequency of applied voltage in the frequency range 1mHz - 400 Hz. The exploration of a new type of spectroscopythat combines partial discharge analysis and dielectricresponse is demonstrated. LÄS MER
22. Band Alignment Between ZnO-Based and Cu(In,Ga)Se2 Thin Films for High Efficiency Solar Cells
Sammanfattning : Thin-film solar cells based on Cu(In,Ga)Se2 contain a thin buffer layer of CdS in their standard configuration. In order to avoid cadmium in the device for environmental reasons, Cd-free alternatives are investigated. LÄS MER
23. Structural and thermodynamical basis for molecular recognition between engineered binding proteins
Sammanfattning : The structural determination of interacting proteins, both as individual proteins and in their complex, complemented by thermodynamical studies are vital in order to gain in-depth insights of the phenomena leading to the highly selective protein-protein interactions characteristic of numerous life processes. This thesis describes an investigation of the structural and thermodynamical basis for molecular recognition in two different protein-protein complexes, formed between so-called affibody proteins and their respective targets. 24. Probing Electron Collisions in Nanostructures
Sammanfattning : This thesis studies the role of interaction between charged particles for transport and optical properties in nanostructures. Simulations are provided for a quantitative description of the system dynamics probed by either current spectroscopy or light absorption. LÄS MER
25. Chemometric methods for analysis of spectroscopic data from batch process monitoring
Sammanfattning : Understanding of a process is essential for processdevelopment, optimisation and scale-up. In situ spectroscopy isan attractive measurement technique that can increase processunderstanding, since samples need not be retrieved from theprocess mixture. LÄS MER
