  1. 1. Nonlinear optical techniques for ultrafast laser diagnostics : Development of femtosecond LIF, LIGS, CARS and backward lasing

    Författare :Maria Ruchkina; Förbränningsfysik; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; laser diagnostics; femtosecond laser; nonlinear interactions; ultrafast spectroscopy; multi-photon excitation; laser-induced fluorescence; rotational coherent anti-Stokes Raman spectroscopy; laser-induced grating spectroscopy; lasing; backward lasing technique; Fysicumarkivet A:2021:Ruchkina;

    Sammanfattning : The thesis work concerns development and application of four versatile nonlinear optical techniques, based on exploiting ultrashort laser pulses, for diagnostic purposes in gases and flames. The four techniques, all laser-based, are two-photon laser-induced fluorescence (TPLIF), hybrid femtosecond/nanosecond (fs/ns) rotational coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering (fs/ns RCARS), fs-laser-induced grating spectroscopy (fs-LIGS), and backward lasing. 2. 2. Control of Coherent Extreme Ultraviolet Light and Light Sources

    Författare :Neven Ibrakovic; Atomfysik; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; ultrafast lasers; XUV optics; high-order harmonic generation; quantum path interference; opto-optical modulation; free electron lasers; nitrogen lasing; Fysicumarkivet A:2019:Ibrakovic;

    Sammanfattning : Coherent extreme ultraviolet (XUV) light sources are necessary for the investigation of physical processes in the natural length and time scales of atoms. These experiments require a high degree of control of the coherent XUV light. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Conjugated Luminescent Molecular Materials : An Experimental and Theoretical Study of Electronic, Optical and Chemical Properties of some Conjugated Molecules, Polymers and Interfaces

    Författare :Nicklas Johansson; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES;

    Sammanfattning : In recent years intensive studies of conjugated polymers and molecules have been carried out all over the world. The most promising use for these materials appears at the moment to be as the active luminescent component in flat panel displays. LÄS MER
