Sammanfattning : The general aim of the study is to investigate how a new childhood evolved in the meeting between children, parents, philanthropists and physicians in Sweden during the first half of the 20th century, the century that was to be what Ell en Key called The Century of the Child. 3. Neglected ghosts of contested nurseries : The role of interpersonal trauma and psychosocial adversity for caregiving among parents with intellectual disability
Sammanfattning : Research on the general parent population has established that parental exposure to interpersonal trauma and psychosocial stressors may negatively influence caregiving and children’s development. Research also suggests that parents with intellectual disability (ID) are disproportionally exposed to interpersonal trauma and psychosocial stressors, and that such exposure may contribute to the elevated risk for caregiving and child developmental problems in this population. Sammanfattning : Even though they account for 10% of the global disease burden and besides the new record of funding in 2018, tropical diseases are still neglected by the majority of pharmaceutical companies and public funding. 5. Pharmacovigilance capacity in East Africa with focus on neglected tropical diseases
Sammanfattning : Pharmacovigilance aims to enhance patient safety in relation to the use of medicines by reducing the incidence and severity of adverse events which includes supporting public health programs by providing information on the safety profile of medicines used by the programs.
