  1. 21. Polyphonie argumentative : Étude de la négation dans des éditoriaux du Figaro, de Libération et du Monde

    Författare :Malin Roitman; Mats Forsgren; Françoise Sullet-Nylander; Kjersti Fløttum; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; polyphony; negation; enunciation; polyphonic markers; polyphonic structure; sequences; dynamic point of view; discourse beings; dialogism; argumentation; intrusion; ethos; subjectivity; reported speech; refutation; rhetoric; constructivism; French language; Franska språket;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis deals with the polyphonic and argumentative functions of the French negation marker, ne, in editorial texts from the daily press. The concept ‘polyphony’ relates to the presence of multiple voices within one and the same utterance. According to this view, negation triggers a subdivision of an utterance in two points of view. 2. 22. Characterization of a silica based nano/mesoporous material for adsorption application : A study of the relation between synthesis, structure and adsorption efficiency

    Författare :Farnaz Ghajeri; Klaus Leifer; Anders Larsson; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : During last years the interest in large scale production of nano/mesoporous materials has increased in the industry due to benefits that these materials can provide. Silica based nanomaterials are examples of such materials with large specific surface area and pore volume where the porous structure is the key for the resulting properties leading to efficiency in e. 3. 23. The significance of species groups for food web structure and functioning

    Författare :Mikael Ohlsson; Anna Eklöf; György Barabas; Louis-Félix Bersier; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES;

    Sammanfattning : In ecosystems across the world, species co-exist, compete, and consume, all while adapting to environmental conditions and disruptions. An important key to the puzzle of understanding how species will respond to changes in the ecosystems, caused by for example climate change, pollution, habitat destruction, and overexploitation, is what current roles species have in a larger context. 4. 24. Soil salinity as a driver of microbial community structure and functioning

    Författare :Kristin Rath; MEMEG; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Soil salinization; Soil Microbiology; soil microbial community; Bacteria; Aerobic; Fungi; Drying-rewetting; Microbial growth; Microbial biomass; Soil respiration; salinity tolerance; Saline soils; Salinity gradient;

    Sammanfattning : Soil salinization is a pressing agricultural problem in many areas of the world, particularly in areas heavily reliant on irrigation agriculture. While the negative effects of salinity on crop plants have been widely studied, its effects on soil microorganisms have received less attention, and the impact of soil salinity on both microbial community structure and functioning is not well understood. 5. 25. Structure and Dynamics in Amphiphilic Bilayers: NMR and MD simulation Studies

    Författare :Tiago Ferreira; Fysikalisk kemi; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES;

    Sammanfattning : Solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy and molecular dynamics (MD) simulations were employed to study molecular structure and dynamics in amphiphilic bilayers. This thesis reports on method development and practical applications to two types of bilayer systems: simple cell membrane models composed of phosphatidylcholine lipids and cholesterol; and liquid crystals composed of ethyleneoxide-based surfactants often used in technological applications and in fundamental studies of amphiphile self-assembly.
