    Sammanfattning : Longstanding pain experienced from the musculoskeletal system is reported by one third of the Swedish population. The underlying mechanisms are not known in the majority of cases. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Repetitive and monotonous work among women : Psychophysiological and subjective stress reactions, muscle activity and neck and shoulder pain

    Författare :Dag Rissén; Bo Melin; Ulf Lundberg; Anders Kjellberg; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Repetitive and monotonous work; women; psychophysiological stress reactions; subjective stress reactions; muscle activity; trapezius muscle; neck and shoulder pain; job rotation; Psychology; Psykologi;

    Sammanfattning : Repetitive and monotonous work is frequently associated with neck and shoulder pain and negative psychosocial factors inducing stress reactions. The present thesis concerns the relations between psychophysiological and subjective stress reactions, muscle activity measured by surface electromyography (SEMG) in the trapezius muscle, and neck and shoulder pain in women performing repetitive and monotonous work. 3. 3. Voluntary activation of skeletal muscle in young and old women and men

    Författare :Michael Miller; Människan i rörelse: hälsa och rehabilitering; []

    Sammanfattning : The evaluation of skeletal muscle strength is an important part of the physiotherapist’s clinical examination in order to plan and execute appropriate interventions. This requires the objective assessment of muscle strength and the determination of the underlying factors of muscle weakness. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Structure and function of the ankle dorsiflexor muscles in young healthy men and women
