  1. 1. Palladium(0)-Catalysed Carbonylative Multicomponent Reactions Synthesis of Heterocycles and the Application of Quinolinyl Pyrimidines as Enzyme Inhibitors

    Detta är en avhandling från Uppsala : Acta Universitatis Upsaliensis

    Författare :Linda Åkerbladh; Mats Larhed; Luke Odell; Anders Karlén; Lise-Lotte Gundersen; [2017]
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Palladium catalysis; Carbonylation; Multicomponent reactions; Domino reactions; Heterocycles; 4-Quinolones; 2-Aminoquinazolinones; Benzoxazinones; N-Acylguanidines; Type II NADH dehydrogenase; NDH-2;

    Sammanfattning : Palladium-catalysed carbonylative multicomponent reactions have proven useful for the synthesis of structurally diverse compounds. Carbon monoxide serves as an atom-efficient, one-carbon building block, which allows for further structural elaboration of the carbonyl compound. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Section 1 of this thesis contains an introduction to method development in organic synthesis, multicomponent reactions, sulfonyl azides, tracer development in 11C chemistry and the biological target.Section 2 describes the use of sulfonyl azides in carbonylative chemistry. Paper I covers development of a diazotransfer protocol. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Multicomponent diffusional reactions in tool steels Experiment and Theory

    Detta är en avhandling från Stockholm : KTH Royal Institute of Technology

    Författare :Greta Lindwall; Malin Selleby; Karin Frisk; John Ågren; Carelyn Campbell; [2012]
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; hot-work tool steel; precipitation hardening; DICTRA; coarsening; mobilities; CALPHAD; cobalt; PM tool stees; nitrogen; compound materials;

    Sammanfattning : Many phenomena determining the microstructure of a tool steel and consequently the properties of the material, are governed by multicomponent diffusion. The diffusion driven reactions that take place during, for example, tempering of a hot-work tool steel or when the microstructure develops during hot isostatic pressing of cold-work tool steel, are dependent on the types and amounts of alloying elements. 4. 4. Development of new Catalytic Methods for the Selective Synthesis of Heterocycles

    Detta är en avhandling från Stockholm : Department of Organic Chemistry, Stockholm University

    Författare :Stalin Reddy Pathi Pati; Nicklas Selander; Masaharu Nakamura; [2018]
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; catalysis; indium; heterocycles; Lewis acid; multicomponent reactions; furans; alkynes; Organic Chemistry; organisk kemi;

    Sammanfattning : In the field of organic chemistry, the development of new catalytic methods for the synthesis of complex molecules from simple precursors is a top priority. The main focus of this thesis concerns the diastereoselective synthesis of heterocyclic compounds using main group elements as Lewis acid catalysts. LÄS MER

  5. 5. SOFC Modeling from Micro- to Macroscale: Transport Processes and Chemical Reactions

    Detta är en avhandling från Stockholm : Department of Organic Chemistry, Stockholm University

    Författare :Hedvig Paradis; [2011]
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; mass transport; diffusion; microscale; porous media; kinetics; LBM; CFD; anode multicomponent; MATLAB;

    Sammanfattning : The purpose of this work is to investigate the interaction between transport processes and chemical reactions, with special emphasis on modeling mass transport by the Lattice Boltzmann method (LBM) at microscale of the anode of a solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC). In order to improve the performance of an SOFC, it is important to determine the microstructural effect embedded within the physical and chemical processes, which usually are modeled macroscopically.
