Sammanfattning : In the thesis, the conditions, possibilities, and limitations for Swedish environmental organisations to influence other actors — state agencies, political organisations, enterprises and the Swedish public — are analysed. The focus is on their practice in the nineties, implying a context in which different actors, to a greater extent, have accepted the significance of environmental issues, demand knowledge of and solutions to environmental problems, and with new conflicts continously arising. Sammanfattning : The purpose of this study is to investigate high churchmanship in the Church of Sweden during the first half of the 20th century from the perspective of movement and identity. Published and unpublished sources have been studied in order to reconstruct the network, organization, practices, strategies and self-understanding of the movement in relation to its national and international context. 5. Movement Control after Stroke : Studies on Sit-to-walk and on the Relations between Clinical and Laboratory Measures
Sammanfattning : Aims: The principal aims of this research were 1) to extend existing knowledge of the everyday sit-to-walk (STW) transfer in subjects with stroke and in matched controls by exploring temporal, kinematic, and kinetic aspects, and 2) to investigate the relations between some clinical and laboratory measures of postural control and locomotion in stroke rehabilitation and research. Methods: Ten community-living subjects with stroke (mean age 59 years) and ten matched controls were enrolled in the STW studies (Studies I, II, and IV). LÄS MER
