  1. 1. Reconciling Form and Function through Generative Design

    Författare :Axel Nordin; Produktutveckling; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Generative design; morphological repertoire; constraint handling; optimization; customization; industrial design; engineering design;

    Sammanfattning : The current form-giving activity in industrial design is characterized by explorations that depend on the individual capability to mentally manipulate a solution space from which to select and express the intended result. Industrial designers frequently rely on artistic experimentation, aesthetic inspiration, or design briefs. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Transforming and Strengthening the Links Between Industrial Design, Engineering Design and Production

  3. 3. Ontogenetic and comparative aspects of cerebellar and motor development

    Författare :Maria Christensson; Institutionen för experimentell medicinsk vetenskap; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Neurologi; neurophysiology; Neurology; neuropsychology; Medicine human and vertebrates ; time-translation; cross-species; cerebellum; motor adaptation; development; ferret; external granular layer; neuropsykologi; neurofysiologi; Medicin människa och djur ;

    Sammanfattning : During the course of development the motor repertoire of animals and humans alike go through dramatic changes. New motor patterns arise; movements become coordinated, improve in precision and are at the same time continuously calibrated to the changing body dimensions. The cerebellum is critical for movement coordination and adaptation in adults. LÄS MER

  4. 4. English and other foreign linguistic elements in spoken Swedish : studies of productive processes and their modelling using finite-state tools

    Författare :Anders Lindström; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Computer science; Datavetenskap;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis addresses the question of what native speakers of Swedish do when items originating in English and several other foreign languages occur in their native language. This issue is investigated at the phonological and morphological levels of contemporary Swedish. LÄS MER

  5. 5. The Dawn of a New Age : Interrelationships of Acoela and Nemertodermatida and the Early Evolution of Bilateria

    Författare :Andreas Wallberg; Ulf Jondelius; Mikael Thollesson; Graham Budd; Gonzalo Giribet; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Acoela; Nemertodermatida; Bilateria; Metazoa; evolution; phylogenetic inferrence; ancestral reconstruction; taxon sampling; microRNA; Systematics and phylogenetics; Systematik och fylogeni; systematisk zoologi; Systematic Zoology;

    Sammanfattning : Deciphering the rapid emergence of bilaterian animals around the time of the Cambrian Explosion and reconstructing the interrelationships of animal groups have long been two of the most elusive problems in Zoology. This thesis concerns the phylogenetic interrelationships within and among Acoela and Nemertodermatida, two groups of small worms that are believed to be basal bilaterians and which may provide important clues for understanding the early evolution of animals.
