    Sammanfattning : This dissertation studies the relationships between actors on the Swedish art market during the period 1920-1960. The sociological theory of Pierre Bourdieu is used as an analytical framework.One part of the thesis studies different social groups on the market.     Sammanfattning : This thesis, Fashion and the household: The formation of media and gender in 18th Century Swedish periodicals and pamphlets, deals with the formation of media and gender in 18th Century Sweden using fashion and the household as themes of discussion and gender as an analytical category. The material used consists of periodicals, small prints and series of pamphlets published from the 1730s to the 1770s in Sweden, and one engraving showing five housewives beating a husband on his bare buttocks printed in 1755.     Sammanfattning : This dissertation deals with regulated prostitution in Stockholm around 1900. The regulation forced women who were regarded as loose to submit to medical examinations twice a weak, and to obey a separate set of rules. The prinicipal and outspoken purpose of this regulation was to restrain the spread of contagious venereal diseases. LÄS MER
