  1. 1. Decisional-Emotional Support System for a Synthetic Agent : Influence of Emotions in Decision-Making Toward the Participation of Automata in Society

    Författare :Javier Francisco Guerrero Razuri; Aron Larsson; David Sundgren; Rahim Rahmani; Alessandro Villa; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Affective Computing; Machine Learning; Adversarial Risk Analysis; Broaden and Build Theory; Facial Expression Recognition; Speech Emotion Recognition; Detection of Emotional Information; Emotional self-regulation; Computer and Systems Sciences; data- och systemvetenskap;

    Sammanfattning : Emotion influences our actions, and this means that emotion has subjective decision value. Emotions, properly interpreted and understood, of those affected by decisions provide feedback to actions and, as such, serve as a basis for decisions. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitors in the environment : Effects of citalopram on fish behaviour

    Författare :Martin Kellner; Håkan Olsén; Inger Porsch-Hällström; Magnus Breitholtz; Södertörns högskola; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Citalopram; SSRI; stickleback; Baltic; behaviour; fish; feeding; anxiety; boldness; serotonin; development; Storspigg; serotonin; östersjön; SSRI; läkemedel; miljö; citalopram; ätbeteende; beteende; utveckling; Environmental Studies; Miljövetenskapliga studier; Östersjö- och Östeuropaforskning; Baltic and East European studies;

    Sammanfattning : Selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitors (SSRIs) are a class of anxiolytic and anti-depressant drugs. SSRIs act on the evolutionarily ancient serotonergic system which is virtually identical throughout the vertebrate phylum. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Cancer Risk Assessment of Glycidol : Evaluation of a Multiplicative Risk Model for Genotoxic Compounds

    Författare :Jenny Aasa; Margareta Törnqvist; Elaine M. Faustman; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; glycidol; 3-monochloropropane-1; 2-diol 3-MCPD ; genotoxicity; mutations; micronuclei; hemoglobin adducts; in vivo dose; multiplicative risk model; cancer risk assessment; human cancer risk; miljökemi; Environmental Chemistry;

    Sammanfattning : Humans are exposed to chemical compounds in everyday life, both from the environment and from endogenous processes. Some compounds constitute a risk for cancer development. One such compound is glycidol, which is genotoxic and an animal carcinogen. It is the model compound of this work, partly due to its presence in food. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Modell, människa eller människosyn? : En analys av kritiska perspektiv på bilden av människan i neoklassisk ekonomisk teori

    Författare :Malin Löfstedt; Carl-Henric Grenholm; Elisabet Gerle; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; Ethics; Neoclassical economics; view of humans; description of humans; model of humans; rationality; self interest; individualism; context; interpretation; dissonance; institutional perspective; feminist perspective; African perspective; communitarian perspective; Etik; Philosophy subjects; Filosofiämnen;

    Sammanfattning : This study deals with the picture of human being in neoclassical economic theory. Most often this picture is described as an individual agent acting rationally to maximize his own self-interest. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Safety Analysis of Systems-of-Systems

    Författare :Stephan Baumgart; Joakim Fröberg; Sasikumar Punnekkat; Iain Bate; Mälardalens universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; System-of-Systems; Safety Analysis; Hazard Analysis; Model-based Development; Computer Science; datavetenskap;

    Sammanfattning : Safety-critical systems may fail dangerously with severe consequences to the health of the involved humans, costly equipment, the environment, or other valuable assets of a stakeholder. For these classes of systems, the developers are obliged to analyze each potentially hazardous situation thoroughly. LÄS MER
