  1. 21. Blockchain and Distributed Hash Table Technology in Decentralized Systems

    Författare :Morteza Alizadeh; Karl Andersson; Rahim Rahmani; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Pervasive Mobile Computing; Distribuerade datorsystem;

    Sammanfattning : The Internet of Things (IoT) is one of the popular domains in real-time analytics, ma-chine learning, ubiquitous computing, commodity sensors, and embedded systems where remote smart devices play notable roles in smart homes and industry. The information from emerging IoT environments like remotely-controlled objects, autonomous vehicles (AVs), and energy management can produce a huge amount of data. LÄS MER

  2. 22. Crosstalk in Wideband Wireline Systems -- Curse and Blessing

    Författare :Yezi Huang; Institutionen för elektro- och informationsteknik; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY;

    Sammanfattning : The fourth generation broadband (4GBB) concept aims for ubiquitous and high-speed data communication over the existing twisted copper pairs between the last distribution point and the customer premise equipment. Although it saves deployment cost for the last-mile communication, using the existing copper infrastructure makes the system vulnerable to crosstalk due to electro-magnetic coupling from the neighboring pairs. Sammanfattning : With the ubiquity of digitalization, digital convergence of applications, devices, networks and artifacts presents both challenges and opportunities for individuals, organizations and society. Physical artifacts that were not digital in the recent past are now increasingly becoming intertwined with digital components, providing them with digital capabilities. LÄS MER

  5. 25. Inertial motion capture for ambulatory analysis of human movement and balance

    Författare :Fredrik Olsson; Kjartan Halvorsen; Peter H. Veltink; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Inertial sensors; Human motion capture; Calibration; Neuromuscular control; Human balance; Tremor quantification;

    Sammanfattning : Inertial sensors (accelerometers and gyroscopes) are ubiquitous in today’s society, where they can be found in many of our everyday mobile devices. These sensors are capable of recording the movement of the device, and by extension, the movement of humans carrying or interacting with the device. LÄS MER
