  1. 11. VAR Models, Cointegration and Mixed-Frequency Data

    Författare :Sebastian Ankargren; Johan Lyhagen; Yukai Yang; Gregor Kastner; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; vector error correction; small open economy; mixed-frequency data; Bayesian; steady state; nowcasting; state-space model; large VARs; simulation smoothing; factor stochastic volatility; R; Statistics; Statistik;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis consists of five papers that study two aspects of vector autoregressive (VAR) modeling: cointegration and mixed-frequency data.Paper I develops a method for estimating a cointegrated VAR model under restrictions implied by the economy under study being a small open economy. 2. 12. Algorithmically Guided Information Visualization : Explorative Approaches for High Dimensional, Mixed and Categorical Data

    Författare :Sara Johansson Fernstad; Mikael Jern; Jimmy Johansson; Jane Shaw; Matthew O. Ward; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Information visualization; data mining; high dimensional data; categorical data; mixed data;

    Sammanfattning : Facilitated by the technological advances of the last decades, increasing amounts of complex data are being collected within fields such as biology, chemistry and social sciences. The major challenge today is not to gather data, but to extract useful information and gain insights from it. LÄS MER

  3. 13. Mixed Beam Dosimetry - From Reactor Core to BNCT Patient

    Författare :Per Munck af Rosenschöld; Lund Medicinsk strålningsfysik; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; BNCT; dosimetry; radiotherapy; mixed beam; quality assurance; in vivo dosimetry; Monte Carlo; ionization chamber; foil activation; MCNP; beam quality correction factor; photon transmission.; Nukleärmedicin; radiobiology; Nuclear medicine; radiobiologi; Radiofarmaceutisk teknik; Radiopharmaceutical technology;

    Sammanfattning : Accurate radiation dosimetry is of paramount importance in order to ensure safe delivery of radiotherapy, and for the possibility of meaningful evaluation of clinical trials, as the radiation absorbed dose is correlated to tissue response. The aim of the studies described in this thesis was to investigate and devise novel approaches to mixed beam dosimetry in boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT). LÄS MER

  4. 14. The Finite Element Method for Fractional Order Viscoelasticity and the Stochastic Wave Equation

    Författare :Fardin Saedpanah; Göteborgs universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; finite element method; continuous Galerkin method; linear viscoelasticity; fractional calculus; fractional order viscoelasticity; weakly singular kernel; stability; a priori error estimate; a posteriori error estimate; stochastic wave equation; additive noise; Wiener process; strong convergence.; linear viscoelasticity;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis can be considered as two parts. In the first part a hyperbolic type integro-differential equation with weakly singular kernel is considered, which is a model for dynamic fractional order viscoelasticity. In the second part, the finite element approximation of the linear stochastic wave equation is studied. LÄS MER

  5. 15. Interprofessionella teambesök i svensk barnhälsovård - en resurs att utveckla : En studie om teamarbete ur sjuksköterskors, läkares och psykologers perspektiv

    Författare :Ulrika Svea Nygren; Lena Nordgren; Ylva Tindberg; Leif Eriksson; Håkan Sandberg; Marie Golsäter; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Child Healthcare Service; Interprofessional teamwork; Proportional universalism; Barnhälsovård; Teamarbete; Proportionerlig universalism; Team-based visits; Team competence; Mixed method; Caring Sciences; Vårdvetenskap;

    Sammanfattning : Interprofessional teamwork has been described as a key method in promoting health and preventing illness in children. However, evidence-based knowledge about which form of teamwork in Child Healthcare Services (CHS) that enables a holistic view of the child in his or her family, considering medical, psychological and social circumstances, is required.
