21. First principles study of tungsten-based alloys: From defect thermodynamics to phase diagrams
Sammanfattning : Nuclear fusion is a very attractive option for energy production as it is clean, safe and efficient. The major obstacle in construction of fusion power plants is the development of materials that can tolerate the extreme operational condition especially high-energy neutron flux. LÄS MER
22. An Experimental Study to Improve the Casting Performance of Steel Grades Sensitive for Clogging
Sammanfattning : In this study, the goal is to optimize the process and to reduce the clogging tendency during the continuous casting process. The focus is on clogging when the refractory base material (RBM) in the SEN is in contact with the liquid steel. LÄS MER
23. Failure mechanisms in APS and SPS thermal barrier coatings during cyclic oxidation and hot corrosion
Sammanfattning : Thermal Barrier Coatings (TBCs) are advanced material systems that are being used in the hot sections of gas turbines such as combustor, turbine blades, and vanes. The top ceramic coating in TBCs provides insulation against the hot gases and the intermediate metallic bond coat provides oxidation and corrosion resistance to the underlying turbine components. 24. Color Tuning for Perovskite Light-Emitting Diodes
Sammanfattning : Metal halide perovskites (MHPs) are recognized as promising semiconductor materials for a variety of optical and electrical device applications due to their cost-effective and outstanding optoelectronic properties. As one of the most significant applications, perovskite light-emitting diodes (PeLEDs) hold promise for future lighting and display technologies, attributed to their high photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY), high color purity, and tunable emission color. 25. Sulphide mineral flotation : a new insight into oxidation mechanisms
Sammanfattning : Formation of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), an oxidizing agent stronger than oxygen, by sulphide minerals during grinding was investigated. It was found that pyrite (FeS2), chalcopyrite (CuFeS2), sphalerite ((Zn,Fe)S), and galena (PbS), which are the most abundant sulphide minerals on Earth, generated H2O2 in pulp liquid during wet grinding in the presence or devoid of dissolved oxygen in water and also when the freshly ground solids are placed in water immediately after dry grinding.
