  1. 1. On performance analysis of subspace methods in system identification and sensor array processing

    Författare :Magnus Jansson; Bo Wahlberg; Mats Molander; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; subspace methods; system identification; state-space models; linear regression; sensor array processing; performance analysis; EM algorithm; minimum redundancy array;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis addresses the issue of performance analysis of subspace-based parameter estimation methods in two different applications, namely system identification and sensor array processing.  The objective is to study the quality of the estimated models as the amount of data increases, and to suggest improvements and give user guidelines. 2. 2. Design of High‐Speed, Low‐Power, Nyquist Analog‐to‐Digital Converters

    Författare :Timmy Sundström; Atila Alvandpour; Jan‐Erik Eklund; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIKVETENSKAP;

    Sammanfattning : The scaling of CMOS technologies has increased the performance of general purposeprocessors and DSPs while analog circuits designed in the same process have not been ableto utilize the process scaling to the same extent, suffering from reduced voltage headroom and reduced analog gain. In order to design efficient analog‐to‐digital converters in nanoscale CMOS there is a need to both understand the physical limitations as well as to develop new architectures and circuits that take full advantage of what the process has tooffer. Författare :Timmy Sundström; Atila Alvandpour; Jan-Erik Eklund; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIKVETENSKAP;

    Sammanfattning : The scaling of CMOS technologies has increased the performance of general purpose processors and DSPs. However, analog circuits designed in the same process have not been able to utilize the scaling to the same extent, suffering from reduced voltage headroom and reduced analog gain. LÄS MER
