    Sammanfattning : In this thesis several aspects of space-time processing and equalization for wire-less communications are treated. We discuss several different methods of improving estimates of space-time channels, such as temporal parametrization, spatial parametrization, reduced rank channel estimation, bootstrap channel estimation,and joint estimation of an FIR channel and an AR noise model.     Sammanfattning : A few aspects of aircraft noise were evaluated. These were (i) methods of subjective evaluations, (ii) effects of equalization and (iii) the effects of cognitive aspects.In the first paper, sorting algorithms were used instead of conventional paired comparison method in order to reduce the number of pairs in the evaluation of subjective judgments. CMOS technology is suitable for integrating A/D converters on a chip at a low cost and low power consumption.
