7. Spontaneous Movements during Sleep Guide Spinal Self-organization: Formation and Expression of a Memory Trace
Sammanfattning : During development, information about the three-dimensional shape and mechanical properties of the body is laid down in the synaptic connectivity of sensorimotor systems through adaptive mechanisms. In spinal reflex systems, this enables the fast transformation of complex sensory information into adequate correction of movements. LÄS MER
8. From Words to Voids : Absencing and Haunting in Crimean Semiotic Landscapes

9. Isotope analysis of trace and ultra-trace elements in environmental matrices
Sammanfattning : High precision isotope ratio measurements have found increasing application in various branches of science, from classical isotope geochronology to complex multi-tracer experiments in environmental studies. Progress in analytical technologies in recent years has allowed higher quality data to be obtained through mass spectrometry. LÄS MER
10. How the past becomes present : neural mechanisms governing retrieval from episodic memory
Sammanfattning : Remembering previously experienced events can happen as a result of an effortful retrieval attempt. At other occasions, a memory can enter our minds without any apparent effort – or, indeed, intention - to retrieve. LÄS MER
