15. Biobanks and informed consent : An anthropological contribution to medical ethics
Sammanfattning : Background: 1985 saw the beginnings of a population-based biobank in Västerbotten County, Sweden. In 1999, a start-up genomics company, UmanGenomics, obtained ‘all commercial rights’ to the biobank.
