21. Information on recreation and tourism in spatial planning in the Swedish mountains : methods and need for knowledge
Sammanfattning : The Swedish mountain region makes up about one third of the country but includes less than 2 per cent of the population. It stretches for over 1000 km and includes 90 per cent of the total nature conservation area in Sweden. LÄS MER
22. Towards Measuring Apps' Privacy-Friendliness
Sammanfattning : Today's phone could be described as a charismatic tool that has the ability to keep human beings captivated for a considerable amount of their precious time. Users remain in the illusory wonderland with free services, while their data becomes the subject to monetizing by a genie called big data. LÄS MER
23. Volatility and number measurement of diesel engine exhaust particles
Sammanfattning : Today, emission legislations for engine exhaust particles are mass based. The engines of today are low-emitting with respect to particle mass, with the emissions approaching the detection limit of the current measurement method. This calls for new and improved measurement methods. LÄS MER
24. Magnetizing Currents in Power Transformers : Measurements, Simulations, and Diagnostic Methods
Sammanfattning : This thesis demonstrates a method for transformer core diagnostics. The method uses the no-load current of the transformer as an indicator, and gives different characteristic signatures for different types of faults or defects. Using the no-load current for the diagnostic gives high sensitivity. LÄS MER
25. Conventional spiral and low-dose computed mandibular tomography for dental implant planning
Sammanfattning : Absorbed doses to radiosensitive organs in the head and neck from pre-implant conventional hypocycloidal, conventional spiral and computed tomography (CT) were measured with thermoluminescent dosimeters in an anthropomorphic phantom head. From conventional tomography organ doses, except to the major salivary glands, were below 0.2 mGy. LÄS MER
