    Sammanfattning : An investigation concerning a group of paintings sharing a common motif. The motif is the Madonna with the infants Jesus and Saint John, the Infant Jesus holding a goldfinch.     Sammanfattning : This study explores attitudes towards women’s music-making in ancient Rome (c. 120 BC–130 AD), as expressed in love poetry, satire, letters, historiography, biography, rhetoric and philosophy.
