16. PID Control, Design, Extension, Application
Sammanfattning : This thesis considers the design of PID controllers, the extensions of these controllers to improve their performance, and the applications of these design methods to industrial processes. New tuning methods for PI and PID controllers have been presented. These methods uses a model of the process to be controlled, given as a transfer function. LÄS MER
17. Robust Control of an Induction Motor Drive
Sammanfattning : This thesis considers robust control of an induction motor drive, consisting of an input filter, a voltage source inverter and one or several induction motors in parallel. The motor torque is here controlled by using the method Indirect Self Control (ISC), and power oscillations between the inverter and the input filter are damped by means of a stabilization controller in an outer feedback loop. 18. Uncertainty, Robustness and Sensitivity Reduction in the Design of Single Input Control Systems
Sammanfattning : Feedback control of systems modelled as single input, time invariant, linear and continuous time systems is the subject of this thesis. A growing interest in the design of feedback control systems that can cope with model uncertainties has been the motivation for the study. LÄS MER
19. Towards Optimization of Anomaly Detection Using Autonomous Monitors in DevOps
Sammanfattning : Continuous practices including continuous integration, continuous testing, and continuous deployment are foundations of many software development initiatives. Another very popular industrial concept, DevOps, promotes automation, collaboration, and monitoring, to even more empower development processes. LÄS MER
20. Nonlinear Modeling and Feedback Control of Drug Delivery in Anesthesia
Sammanfattning : General anesthesia is a drug-induced reversible state where neuromuscular blockade (NMB), hypnosis, and analgesia (jointly denoted by depth of anesthesia - DoA) are guaranteed. This thesis concerns mathematical modeling and feedback control of the effect of the muscle relaxants atracurium and rocuronium, the hypnotic propofol, and the analgesic remifentanil. LÄS MER
