    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Probabilistic load flow; Electricity distribution systems; Uncertainty model; Correlation model; Photovoltaics; Electric vehicle; Residential buildings; Hosting capacity; Engineering Science with specialization in Civil Engineering and Built Environment; Teknisk fysik med inriktning mot byggteknik och byggd miljö;

    Sammanfattning : The penetration of photovoltaic (PV) and electric vehicles (EVs) continues to grow and is predicted to claim a vital share of the future energy mix. It poses new challenges in the built environment, as both PV systems and EVs are widely dispersed in the electricity distribution system. LÄS MER

  2. 2. On the Load Distribution and Design of a Chain Drive

    Författare :Ingvar Troedsson; Maskinelement; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; tension force; tensioner; oscillation; chain drive; vibration; load distribution; Mechanical engineering; hydraulics; vacuum technology; vibration and acoustic engineering; Maskinteknik; hydraulik; vakuumteknik; vibrationer; akustik;

    Sammanfattning : Three methods are presented to calculate the load distribution in a chain drive containing two sprockets and one chain. The rollers, which are in contact with the sprockets, can move along the tooth flanks and their positions are given by force equilibrium. LÄS MER

  3. 3. On Possibilities of Using Smart Meters for Compulsory Load Shedding Supported by Load Forecasting

    Författare :Yasir Arafat; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Power quality; Remote switching; Electrical distribution system; Smart meter; Compulsory load shedding; Load forecasting;

    Sammanfattning : The smart meter rollout is progressing in several parts of the world with early adoption in some parts, e.g., Europe. Remote ON/OFF control switch of the smart meter allows distribution system operators to switch the smart meter of any customer remotely. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Urban demographics are changing, with more than half of the global population currently residing in urban areas. Traditionally, cities are often seen as passive energy consumers relying on external centralized systems. Motivated by the need to mitigate climate change, a shift is underway as cities actively shape energy systems. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Rainflow Analysis of Switching Markov Loads

    Författare :Pär Johannesson; Matematisk statistik; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; actuarial mathematics; programming; operations research; Statistics; rainflow matrix; fatigue; vehicle load; hidden Markov model; random load; Markov model; Switching process; Statistik; operationsanalys; programmering; aktuariematematik;

    Sammanfattning : Rainflow cycles are often used in fatigue analysis of materials for describing the variability of applied loads. Therefore, an important characteristic of a random load process is the intensity of rainflow cycles, also called the expected rainflow matrix (RFM), which can be used for evaluation of the fatigue life.
