21. Resonant and Non-Resonant Electron Spectroscopy of Free Molecules and Free Clusters
Sammanfattning : Resonant electron spectroscopy has been performed on the diatomic molecules CO, N2 and HCl. Core-excitations were made to bound and dissociative intermediate electronic states. Fundamental interference phenomena are observed and discussed in the framework of ”X-ray Raman Scattering Theory”. LÄS MER
22. Multiconductor transmission lines wideband modeling : A delay-rational Green’s-function-based method
Sammanfattning : The performance of variable-frequency drives (VFDs) commonly used in energy production plants can be severely affected by electromagnetic (EM) noise in the form of conducted disturbances.A VFD is composed of an inverter, a motor, and a connecting power cable. LÄS MER
23. Molecular electronic, vibrational and rotational motion in optical and x-ray fields
Sammanfattning : The subject of this theoretical study is the role ofelectronic structure as well as of rotational and vibrational motionson interactions between molecules and electromagnetic radiation, ranging from optical to x-ray. The thesis concerns both linear and nonlinear regimes of the light-matter interaction. LÄS MER
24. Functional studies of the multiple endocrine neoplasia type 1 gene
Sammanfattning : The multiple endocrine neoplasia type 1 (MEN1, OMIM 131 100) syndrome is an autosomal dominant trait with a near 100% penetrance and with an estimated prevalence of 2-20/100 000. The syndrome is characterized by neoplasia affecting the parathyroid glands (90-97%), enteropancreatic endocrine tissues (30-80%) and the anterior pituitary gland (15-50%) but tumors arc also found in other, both endocrine and non endocrine tissues. 25. Mobility Management and Localizability for Cellular Connected UAVs
Sammanfattning : Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) connected to cellular networks present novel challenges and opportunities in mobility management and localization, distinct from those faced by terrestrial users. This thesis presents an integrated approach, combining two key aspects essential for the integration of UAVs with cellular networks. LÄS MER
