    Sammanfattning : Aims: The outcome from conventional endodontic therapy does not always result in a healing of the periapical area, thus leaving a remaining lesion with or without symptoms. The primary treatment alternative is a revision of the orthograde root-filling if applicable. A second treatment alternative might be a periapical surgery procedure. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : MRI of the breast has, since the introduction of gadolinium contrast agents, been increasingly used in breast investigations. MRI has been found to have a high sensitivity but a low specificity in cancer detection. The aim of this thesis was to study and establish the role of MRI in the clinical diagnosis of breast lesions.     Sammanfattning : Photochemically-induced ischemic lesions and compression-induced traumatic injuries in the mid-thoracic spinal cord were studied in female rats.
