    Sammanfattning : The aim of the thesis was to study cardiovascular side effects of radiotherapy (RT) in breast cancer (BC).In a study base of 25,171 women with BC diagnosed 1970-2000, we found a statistically significant 12% increase of stroke, compared to the stroke incidence in the background population.     Sammanfattning : During fetal development, the hippocampal structures are folded forming the hippocampal sulcus which penetrates into the temporal lobe and then the entity rotates.  During this process, the hippocampal sulcus will be closed and the inverted hippocampus takes a rounded form.     Sammanfattning : Median nerve injuries in adults, repaired with nerve suture, lead to incomplete functional recovery despite improved surgical technique. This results in a reduction in quality of life, poorer working ability and a considerable expense for society.
