  1. 1. Adaptive Lateral Model Predictive Control for Autonomous Driving of Heavy-Duty Vehicles

    Författare :Goncalo Collares Pereira; Jonas Mårtensson; Bo Wahlberg; Henrik Pettersson; Daniel Axehill; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Model Predictive Control; Control Stability; Experimental Evaluation; Fleet Evaluation; Adaptive Control; Automatic Control; Autonomous Vehicles; Electrical Engineering; Elektro- och systemteknik;

    Sammanfattning : Autonomous Vehicle (AV) technology promises safer, greener, and more efficient means of transportation for everyone. AVs are expected to have their first big impact in closed environments, such as mining areas, ports, and construction sites, where Heavy-Duty Vehicles (HDVs) operate. LÄS MER

  2. 2. 3D localization in digital holography from scattered light from micrometer-sized particles

    Författare :Johan Öhman; Mikael Sjödahl; Per Bergström; Erik Olsson; Torbjörn Löfqvist; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Digital Holography; Polarization; Particle Scattering; Metrology; Experimentell mekanik; Experimental Mechanics;

    Sammanfattning : When a particle is illuminated by a beam of light it will scatter and redistribute the light in all directions. How it scatters depends on the size, shape and refractive index of the particle. Additionally, it depends on the wavelength and polarization of the illuminating beam. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Implications of localization and transport regulation of postsynaptic membrane proteins for synaptic function and psychiatric disorders

    Författare :Thomas Liebmann; Karolinska Institutet; Karolinska Institutet; []
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : A fundamental means of regulating protein function in cells is through modulation of protein abundance at the sites of action via controlled transport processes. The complexity of neurons makes them especially reliant on regulated delivery of proteins to specialized structures throughout the distant cell branches. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Receptor localization and dynamics of murine natural killer cells at single cell level : using advanced fluorescence microscopy

    Författare :Sunitha Bagawath Singh; Karolinska Institutet; Karolinska Institutet; []
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : Natural Killer (NK) cells are immune cells and important for the defense against virally infected and malignant cells. NK cells are regulated by germline encoded activating and inhibitory receptors. Activating receptors specifically recognize ligands which are either encoded by infectious agents, or induced upon infection or cellular stress. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Differential expression pattern of CEACAM1 isoforms in polarized epithelial cells : it's regulation and some functional consequences

    Författare :Ulla Sundberg; Karolinska Institutet; Karolinska Institutet; []
    Nyckelord :CEACAM1; adhesion; lateral localization; adherens junctions; desmosomes; primary cilia;

    Sammanfattning : The cell adhesion molecule CEACAM1 is expressed in epithelia, small vessel endothelia and leukocytes as two major, co-expressed isoforms, CEACAM1-L and CEACAM1-S, which differ in their cytoplasmic domains. CEACAM1 has been found both in cell-cell contact areas and on apical surfaces of polarized epithelial cells. LÄS MER
