  1. 21. Petrology and Geochemistry of the nakhlite meteorites : Tracking complex igneous and aqueous processes on Mars during the Amazonian

    Författare :Hélène Breton; University of Glasgow; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Mars; Nakhlites; Geovetenskap med inriktning mot mineralogi; petrologi och tektonik; Earth Science with specialization in Mineral Chemistry; Petrology and Tectonics;

    Sammanfattning : The overarching science question being addressed by this research project was the geological history of the nakhlite group of Martian meteorites as representative of a young Amazonian Martian crust. This included the magmatic processes and mechanism of emplacement at the origin of the meteorites but also the nature of a young Amazonian Martian aquifer that circulated throughout the nakhlites bedrock from its chemistry, origin and longevity. 2. 22. Cooperative Communications : Link Reliability and Power Efficiency

    Författare :Tafzeel ur Rehman Ahsin; Ben Slimane; Xavier Lagrange; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Cooperative Communications; Link Reliability; Power Efficiency; Energy Efficiency; Network Coding; Cooperative Relaying; SRA - ICT; SRA - Informations- och kommunikationsteknik;

    Sammanfattning : Demand for high data rates is increasing rapidly for the future wireless generations, due to the requirement ofubiquitous coverage for wireless broadband services. More base stations are needed to deliver these services, in order tocope with the increased capacity demand and inherent unreliable nature of wireless medium. LÄS MER

  3. 23. Channel Prediction and Target Tracking for Multi-Agent Systems

    Författare :Markus Fröhle; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Gaussian processes; multitarget tracking; channel prediction; extended target tracking; Multi-agent system; posterior fusion; location uncertainty;

    Sammanfattning : Mobile moving agents as part of a multi-agent system (MAS) utilize the wireless communication channel to disseminate information and to coordinate between each other. This channel is error-prone and the transmission quality depends on the environment as well as on the configuration of the transmitter and the receiver. LÄS MER

  4. 24. RF Wireless Power Transfer for IoT Applications

    Författare :Morteza Tavana; Emil Björnson; Jens Zander; Ayça Özçelikkale; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Electronic waste; Energy harvesting; Internet of things; transceivers; wireless power transfer; wireless sensor networks; Informations- och kommunikationsteknik; Information and Communication Technology;

    Sammanfattning : With the emergence of the Internet of things (IoT) networks, the replacement of batteries for IoT devices became challenging. In particular, the battery replacement is more expensive and cumbersome for scenarios where there are many IoT devices; or where the IoT devices are in unreachable locations; or when they have to be replaced often. 5. 25. Spatial Resource Allocation in Massive MIMO Communications : From Cellular to Cell-Free

    Författare :Trinh Van Chien; Emil Björnson; Erik G. Larsson; David Gesbert; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY;

    Sammanfattning : Massive MIMO (multiple-input multiple-output) is considered as an heir of the multi-user MIMO technology and it has gained lots of attention from both academia and industry since the last decade. By equipping base stations (BSs) with hundreds of antennas in a compact array or a distributed manner, this new technology can provide very large multiplexing gains by serving many users on the same time-frequency resources and thereby bring significant improvements in spectral efficiency (SE) and energy efficiency (EE) over the current wireless networks.
