    Sammanfattning : The Bolivian Altiplano is situated between two mountain ranges, the western and eastern central Andes in South America. It has two major lakes, Lake Titicaca to the north, and Lake Poopó to the south, which both are important for the nature as well as for the living conditions on the Altiplano.     Sammanfattning : The intention of the present study was to examine the effect of the maternal genome and cytoplasm, of the attachment of extra heterochromatin of the transposing of heterochromatic regions into euchromatic parts and of temperature shocks during various stages of the development on recombination in Drosophila metanogaster. The access to marker genes along the X-chromosome induced in the inbred line made it possible to examine this array of different conditions in females with an isogenic background. LÄS MER
