    Sammanfattning : Measurement of prostate-specific antigen (PSA) in blood is an important tool in detection for prostate cancer. PSA occurs in several molecular forms in blood: mainly as a free form with a molecular mass of 28 kDa; and as PSA complexed to alpha-1-antichymotrypsin, complexed PSA, with a molecular mass of 90 kDa.     Sammanfattning : Echocardiography is an ultrasound-based bedside, non-invasive and easily available cardiac diagnostic technique visualising the heart’s morphology and function. Quantification of cardiac wall motion can be measured with the tissue Doppler Imaging (TDI) modality which provides in humans a high diagnostic capacity to differentiate healthy from diseased myocardium with reduced function.     Sammanfattning : Bioaerosols are not only a significant factor of air quality but contribute greatly to the spread of infectious diseases, specifically through expired pathogen-laden aerosols. Clear examples of airborne transmission include: the recent influenza pandemic of 2009, the ongoing tuberculosis epidemic, and yearly norovirus out- breaks, which affect millions of people worldwide and pose serious threats to public healthcare systems.
