16. Innovative approaches to study basophil function in inflammation
Sammanfattning : Basophils are circulating granulocytes. They are very rare and represent less than 1% of peripheral blood leukocytes. Basophils connect the innate and adaptive immune responses by the secretion of a variety of immune-mediators involved in the pathogenesis of many inflammatory diseases mainly allergic reactions and autoimmune diseases.
