  1. 1. Styckares arbete : knivskarpt om hållbarhet

    Författare :Kjerstin Vogel; Jörgen Eklund; Roland Örtengren; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Ergonomics; meat cutting; knife; knife sharpening; polishing; interactive; industry intervention; sustainability; profitability; change; yield; stress; RAS; Ergonomi; styckning; kniv; knivskärpa; polering; interaktiv; branschintervention; hållbarhet; lönsamhet; förändring; utbyte; stress; RAS;

    Sammanfattning : Styckares arbete är fysiskt ansträngande och kännetecknas av att vara utpräglat manuellt där den handhållna kniven är det viktigaste verktyget. Arbetet innebär enligt arbetsskadestatistiken hög risk för arbetsrelaterade skador och sjukdomar. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Learning for Task-Oriented Grasping

    Författare :Mia Kokic; Danica Kragic; Barbara Caputo; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; robotics; computer vision; Computer Science; Datalogi;

    Sammanfattning : Task-oriented grasping refers to the problem of computing stable grasps on objects that allow for a subsequent execution of a task. Although grasping objects in a task-oriented manner comes naturally to humans, it is still very challenging for robots. Take for example a service robot deployed in a household. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Cell activation and nerve regeneration following peripheral nerve injury

    Författare :Annika Widerberg; Malmö Handkirurgi; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Neurology; nerve regeneration; Nerve injury; conditioning lesion; nerve graft; tourniquet compression; vibration; DRG; Schwann cell; p75; CPON; neurofysiologi; neuropsykologi; Neurologi; neurophysiology; neuropsychology;

    Sammanfattning : The effect of short time vibration exposure and tourniquet compression on nerve regeneration in rats was studied with special reference to cell activation. One of the hindlimbs was conditioned by either vibration exposure (5 hours / day - 5 consecutive days) or compression (150-300 mmHg for 30-120 minutes), which was followed by a recovery period of 0-7 days.
