    Sammanfattning : Chemical pulp fibres from wood are commonly used in products associated with packaging as well as with printing and writing.     Sammanfattning : Among nanoscale structures of different shapes and dimensions nanowires are one of the most promising because of its truly unique properties different from their bulk counterparts. The energy quantization, perfect defect-free structure, and the possibility to grow them within the miscibility gap in combination with the benefits of bottom-up design and the possibility of integration on silicon substrates make nanowires ideal candidates for applications in optoelectronics, biotechnology and energy harvesting.     Sammanfattning : To fully understand the elementary reactions behind the ignition of automotive fuels the interaction between the fuel components must be known. The ignition initiation is most often caused by loss of an H radical from a reactive fuel molecule, for example n-heptane.     Sammanfattning : FTIR spectroscopy and kinetic modelling have been used to study catalysts for NOX reduction and NOX storage. For Pt/Al2O3 exposed to NO, oxygen and propene IR-bands associated with nitrates, acetate, formate, carbonates and isocyanate were observed. Experiments with NO, oxygen and HNCO showed that isocyanate is an intermediate for reduction of NOX. LÄS MER
