Sammanfattning : Children across the globe today are continuously being exposed to and affected by various kinds of real-world complexities and challenges; however, research on their knowledge and practices in terms of sustainability is limited, in particular with regards to how preschool- and home-related factors are associated with their learning for sustainability. Since 1998, different types of eco-certification have been awarded by the Swedish National Agency for Education and Keep Sweden Tidy Foundation to promote education for sustainability (EfS) in all areas of education and learning. 4. Deaf children in communication : a study of communicative strategies used by deaf children in social interactions
Sammanfattning : This is a descriptive study of communicative strategies used by fifteen deaf preschool children. Five of the children had early sign language experience (ESL), while ten had late sign language experience (LSL). Seven of the LSL children had been orally trained. LÄS MER

Sammanfattning : Paper 1: This paper examines the determinants of teacher turnover using matched employee-employer panel data from Swedish lower and upper secondary schools in a market-oriented institutional environment with a growing private sector and individually negotiated wages. I find statistically significant and robust negative correlations between mobility and monetary compensations. LÄS MER
