1. Cryptogenic Polyneuropathy : Clinical, Environmental, And Genetic Studies
Sammanfattning : Objectives: The purpose of this medical thesis was to describe the clinical and neurophysiological features and to evaluate the health related quality of life (HR-QoL) in patients with cryptogenic polyneuropathy. We also wanted to investigate different occupational, and leisure time exposures as determinants for cryptogenic polyneuropathy, and to analyze whether polymorphisms for the null alleles of Glutathione S-Transferase Mu-1 (GSTM1), and Theta-1 (GSTT1), and a low activity genetic variation of epoxide hydrolase (EPHX) affect the risk of developing polyneuropathy. 3. Palladium(II)-Catalyzed Coupling Reactions
Sammanfattning : Sustainable chemical processes are becoming increasingly important in all fields of synthetic chemistry. Catalysis can play an important role in developing environmentally benign chemical processes, and transition metals have an important role to play in the area of green chemistry. LÄS MER
4. Attitudes towards the Market and the Welfare State : Incorporating attitudes towards the market into welfare state research

5. Multi-Sensor Data Synchronization using Mobile Phones
Sammanfattning : Body sensor networking is a rapidly growing technology. Today wearable sensors are used to measure and monitor e.g. pulse, temperature, skin conductance, heart activity, and movement (through GPS or inertial measurement units). LÄS MER
