11. Cavern wall design principles
Sammanfattning : This licentiate thesis deals with the design of lined rockcaverns used for the storage of gas under high pressures (20-25MPa). This storage technique has been developed in Swedenduring the last 20 years. The concept has been named LRC (LinedRock Cavern). LÄS MER
12. P-hacking in academic research : a critical review of the job strain model and of the association between night work and breast cancer in women
Sammanfattning : P-hacking can be described as a more or less deliberate, explorative approach to data analysis with a flexible/opportunistic search space and the reporting of primarily statistically significant findings. This leads to inflated type-1 error rates and to bias in reported estimates in the scientific literature. LÄS MER
13. Nurses' psychosocial work environment, parental needs and communication at the neonatal intensive care unit

They are dependent on staff for help in caring for and relating to their infant. Nursing staff who care for vulnerable infants and their families are subject to stress and burnout. LÄS MER
14. Granular Materials for Transport Infrastructures : Mechanical performance of coarse–fine mixtures for unbound layers through DEM analysis
Sammanfattning : Granular materials are widely used as unbound layers within the infrastructure system playing a significant role on performance and maintenance. However, fields like pavement and railway engineering still heavily rely on empirically-based models owing to the complex behaviour of these materials, which partly stems from their discrete nature. 15. Socioeconomic differences in myocardial infarction risk : epidemiological analyses of causes and mechanisms
Sammanfattning : This thesis investigates the seize of the socioeconomic differences in risk of acute myocardial infarction (AMI), the time trends in incidence in different socioeconomic groups, and explores some mechanisms generating the socioeconomic gradient. Three different types of mechanisms were considered: causal chains, interaction or susceptibility, and triggering mechanisms. LÄS MER
