16. High Temperature Corrosion in Fluidised Bed Environment
Sammanfattning : Successful material selection for power plants is the result of understanding the environment in each boiler. The boiler environment is affected by fuel chemistry, co-firing, process control and deposits as well as boiler type, design, size and load. LÄS MER
17. New strategies for characterizing Prussian blue analogues
Sammanfattning : Prussian blue analogues (PBAs), AxM[M’(CN)6]1–y·zH2O, are used in many different applications, such as energy storage, due to their tunable composition and structural diversity. To understand the material properties, it is important to accurately determine the composition and atomic structure of these materials. LÄS MER
18. On the shrinkage of metals and its effect in solidification processing
Sammanfattning : The shrinkage during solidification of aluminium and iron based alloys has been studied experimentally and theoretically. The determined shrinkage behaviour has been used in theoretical evaluation of shrinkage related phenomena during solidification. Air gap formation was experimentally studied in cylindrical moulds. 19. Studies on Metalloenzymatic Dynamic Kinetic Resolutions and Iron-Catalyzed Reactions of Allenes
Sammanfattning : The main focus of this thesis lies in the development of new transition metal-catalyzed chemoenzymatic dynamic kinetic resolutions (DKR) of both alcohols and amines. The first part of the thesis deals with the development of new heterogeneous systems for the DKR of amines. LÄS MER
20. Sintering of water-atomized iron and low-alloyed steel powder
Sammanfattning : Iron and steel powder grades are extensively used in the powder metallurgy (PM) industry for manufacturing of ferrous structural components, with a major customer in the automotive industry. The powder grades are predominantly manufactured by water-atomization, yielding powder particles with highly irregular morphology and good compressibility, making the powder ideal for the conventional press-and-sinter manufacturing route.
