    Sammanfattning : This thesis provides a study of an open source software project that focuses on the software development of an e-service in a municipal context. The focus is on environmental factors that either limit or promote the motivation to participate in the open source project, the "Parent-Teacher Meeting" project, a web-based communication and information channel whose purpose is to enhance the contacts between schools and parents.     Sammanfattning : Clarification on how cognitive, executive and emotional functioning contribute to symptom reduction or improved function in childhood attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is needed to find additional treatment methods. The clinical utility of continuous performance test (CPT) (Conners’ CPT-II, QbTest) to complement rating scales in diagnostic assessments and treatment evaluations (QbTest) was examined using one dataset from clinical records of 118 treatment-seeking youth (ADHD, n = 80; non-ADHD, n = 38) (diagnostic) and one dataset of 56 youth treated for ADHD (treatment evaluation) (Paper I).     Sammanfattning : The aim of this thesis is to illuminate which role theories of music education can have in the dialectic between discourse and competence in the practice of music pedagogy. The thesis stems from a problem-oriented project that resulted in the formulation of the following research question: how can the connection between music education theory and the power of definition be described and problematized from a cultural-historical perspective using Vygotsky's thesis of Semiotic Thinking? In his research on the dual function of language Vygotsky makes a distinction between the usage of concepts and conceptualization. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Involvement in physical activity (PA) and exercise behaviour is multifaceted and depends on bidirectional correlations between multiple factors; one avenue to increase the understanding of sustainable exercise behaviours would be to employ a motivational perspective. In this thesis, this was done by placing the primary focus on Self-determination theory (SDT) as a person-centred approach to study the motivational mechanisms believed to impact exercise behaviour based on the SDT process model.
