    Sammanfattning : The aim was to explore possible areas and sources that could inform the care for people with dementia. These were the people with dementia themselves, nurses reflective discussions about caring, nurse-patient interaction together with information from close family members, and the previous personality and sense of coherence of people with dementia in relation to behaviour during the disease as related by themselves and/or a family member and the experiences of everyday life for people with dementia still able to talk about their experiences and living as a couple when one of the partners has a dementia disease.     Sammanfattning : The aims of this thesis were to investigate factors of significance for the development of acute confusional state (ACS), the confusional episodes, the lived experiences of having been confused in elderly patients admitted for emergency or elective surgery in orthopaedic care.     Sammanfattning : The overall aim of the present thesis was to investigate experiences of living with multidrug-resistant bacteria (MDRB), using methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) colonization as an illustration, and to develop and validate a tool to describe healthcare personnel’s attitudes towards patients with MDRB. A further objective was to study MRSA-colonized persons’ and healthcare personnel’s experiences of patient-professional interactions and responsibilities for infection prevention. LÄS MER
