  1. 1. Towards Intent-Driven Systems

    Författare :Johan Silvander; Mikael Svahnberg; Andreas Jacobsson; Blekinge Tekniska Högskola; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; business intent; business support system; intent-driven system; compositional system;

    Sammanfattning : Context: Software supporting an enterprise’s business, also known as a business support system, needs to support the correlation of activities between actors as well as influence the activities based on knowledge about the value networks in which the enterprise acts. This can be supported with the help of intent-driven systems. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Towards Intent-Driven Systems Based on Context Frames

    Författare :Johan Silvander; Mikael Svahnberg; Krzysztof Wnuk; Jolita Ralyté; Blekinge Tekniska Högskola; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; business intent; knowledge creation; decision making; rule adherence; OODA-loop; causal models; Programvaruteknik; Software Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : In this research project we investigate how machine actors can support the business intents (desired outcomes) of an enterprise via predictive execution flows, prescriptive execution flows, and bidirectional knowledge creation between human actors and machine actors. A context frame supports bidirectional knowledge creation via interventions and counterfactual analysis. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Computational models for intent recognition in robotic systems

    Författare :Michele Persiani; Thomas Hellström; Sven Magg; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Intent Recognition; Robotics; Plan Recognition; Speech; Affordances; Computer Science; datalogi;

    Sammanfattning : The ability to infer and mediate intentions has been recognized as a crucial task in recent robotics research, where it is agreed that robots are required to be equipped with intentional mechanisms in order to participate in collaborative tasks with humans.Reasoning about - or rather, perceiving - intentions enables robots to infer what other agents are doing, to communicate what are their plans, or to take proactive decisions. Sammanfattning : The description and explanation of the determination of mens rea, or fault, in this thesis begins so to speak, at the “shop-floor” of criminal law. The analysis is based on a survey of judgements of the Swedish courts of first instance for the years 1989-1992 in cases involving intentional killing, causing death through recklessness/negligence as well as gross assault, where such offences constituted the principal crimes. 5. 5. Straffansvar vid atypiska sinnestillstånd

    Författare :Tova Bennet; Juridiska institutionen; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Criminal law; Legal insanity; Mental disorder; Criminal responsibility; Mens rea; Forensic psychiatry; Health law; Expert evidence; Intent; Straffrätt; Rättspsykiatri;

    Sammanfattning : This doctoral thesis examines the attribution of criminal responsibility in Swedish law in cases where the defendant committed an act during an atypical mental state, e.g. psychosis. In nearly all criminal justice systems, a severe mental disorder can activate special rules that excuse or exempt the defendant. LÄS MER
