6. Intelligent Data and Potential Analysis in the Mechatronic Product Development
Sammanfattning : This thesis explores the imperative of intelligent data and potential analysis in the realm of mechatronic product development. The persistent challenges of synchronization and efficiency underscore the need for advanced methodologies. LÄS MER
7. On the relationship between psychometric intelligence and decision making in dynamic systems
Sammanfattning : The relationship between psychometric intelligence and performance in dynamic decision making systems (microworlds) was investigated. A theoretical analysis of the mental processes that underlie performance in intelligence tests and microworlds suggested that at least some weak positive correlations should be expected. LÄS MER

10. Development of Automated Algorithms for Epicardial Adipose Tissue Analysis in Computed Tomography and their Application in Population Based Research
Sammanfattning : The epicardial adipose tissue (EAT), which surrounds the heart and is separated from other tissues only by the thin layers of the pericardium, has enjoyed intense research for the past decades. Increased inflammatory activity in the EAT in coronary artery disease has, together with associated volumetric expansion of the EAT and changes in its radiodensity supported theories that the EAT might play a role in the pathogenesis of coronary atherosclerosis or mirror its progression better than traditional risk factors.
