    Sammanfattning : ABSTRACT The overall aim of this thesis was to examine the performance of personal activities of daily living (P-ADL) related to cognitive and executive dysfunctions in elderly patients with mild stroke in the acute care and after 12 months, and to evaluate the instrument Executive Function Performance Test (EFPT) in persons with mild stroke. In addition, there is a lack of knowledge about associations between cognitive function, manual dexterity, walking ability, socio-demographic factors and coping capacity; and independence in ADL and normal frequency of social/lifestyle activities in a population-based sample of PwMS. Children with mild disabilities have problems performing personal and instrumental activities of daily living (ADL) tasks at home or school, and that can limit their full integration and participation in their homes and school lives.
