    Sammanfattning : This thesis addresses the topic of grounding in human-robot interaction, that is, the process by which the human and robot can ensure mutual understanding. To explore this topic, the scenario of a robot holding a presentation to a human audience is used, where the robot has to process multimodal feedback from the human in order to adapt the presentation to the human's level of understanding. 2. 22. User-Centred Systems Design : Designing Usable Interactive Systems in Practice

    Författare :Bengt Göransson; Jan Gulliksen; Anders Hektor; Liam Bannon; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; user-centred systems design; usability; human-computer interaction; system development; user involvement; usability design; Information technology; Informationsteknologi;

    Sammanfattning : Have you ever been frustrated with that IT system at work that does not behave the way you expect it to? Or had problems with using the features on your new mobile phone? When systems and appliances do not support us in what we are doing, and do not behave the way we expect them to, then usability is neglected. Poor usability may be frustrating and irritating when trying out your mobile phone, but in a critical work situation poor usability may be disastrous. LÄS MER

  3. 23. Designing an Information System for Open Innovation – Bridging the Gap between Individual and Organisational Creativity

    Författare :Mikko Ahonen; Pertti Järvinen; Ola Henfridsson; University of Tampere; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; information system; open innovation; creativity; inventing; human resource development; learning;

    Sammanfattning : History shows that those companies that continue to invest in their innovative capabilities during tough economic times are often those that prosper when growth returns. Recently, information systems (IS) have been harnessed to support innovation. Even with IS support, innovation campaigns and suggestion management systems often end up in failure. LÄS MER

  4. 24. Enterprise Architecture for Information System Analysis : Modeling and assessing data accuracy, availability, performance and application usage

    Författare :Närman Per; Mathias Ekstedt; Pontus Johnson; Sjaak Brinkkemper; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Enterprise Architecture; Metamodeling; Decision-making; Data Accuracy; Service Availability; Service Performance; Technology Acceptance Model; Task Technology Fit;

    Sammanfattning : Decisions concerning IT systems are often made without adequate decision-support. This has led to unnecessary IT costs and failures to realize business benefits. The present thesis presents a framework for analysis of four information systems properties relevant to IT decision-making. LÄS MER

  5. 25. Requirements Engineering Challenges of Supporting Agile Teams in System Development

    Författare :RASHIDA KASAULI; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
