  1. 6. Information Acquisition in Data Fusion Systems

    Författare :Ronnie Johansson; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :information acquisition; information fusion; data fusion; sensor management; perception management; game theory; target tracking; mobile sensors;

    Sammanfattning : By purposefully utilising sensors, for instance by a datafusion system, the state of some system-relevant environmentmight be adequately assessed to support decision-making. Theever increasing access to sensors o.ers great opportunities,but alsoincurs grave challenges. As a result of managingmultiple sensors one can, e. LÄS MER

  2. 7. Multi-sightline neutron emission spectroscopy of D and T fusion plasmas at JET

    Författare :Arne Sahlberg; Jacob Eriksson; Sean Conroy; Göran Ericsson; Manuel Garcia-Muñoz; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; fusion; tokamak; neutron spectroscopy; fusion plasma diagnostics; data analysis; fast ion distribution; Fysik; Physics;

    Sammanfattning : An analysis of the neutron emission from a fusion plasma can be used to determine plasma properties and diagnose fusion performance. In this thesis, several analysis methods for neutron spectroscopy are presented and applied to data from the experimental fusion device JET. LÄS MER

  3. 8. Neutron Emission Spectrometry for Fusion Reactor Diagnosis : Method Development and Data Analysis

    Författare :Jacob Eriksson; Göran Ericsson; Carl Hellesen; Sean Conroy; Andreas Dinklage; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; fusion; plasma diagnostics; neutron spectrometry; TOFOR; MPRu; tokamak; JET; fast ions; fuel ion density; relativistic kinematics; Fysik med inriktning mot tillämpad kärnfysik; Physics with specialization in Applied Nuclear Physics;

    Sammanfattning : It is possible to obtain information about various properties of the fuel ions deuterium (D) and tritium (T) in a fusion plasma by measuring the neutron emission from the plasma. Neutrons are produced in fusion reactions between the fuel ions, which means that the intensity and energy spectrum of the emitted neutrons are related to the densities and velocity distributions of these ions. 4. 9. Capturing semi-automated decision making : the methodology of CASADEMA

    Författare :Maria Nilsson; Tom Ziemke; Joeri van Laere; Tarja Susi; Amy Loutfi; Ann Bisantz; Örebro universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Decision making; distributed cognition; human-computer interaction; semi-automated processes; SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; Information technology; Informationsteknologi; Datalogi; Computer and Systems Science; Teknik;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis presents a new methodology named CASADEMA (CApturing Semi-Automated DEcision MAking) which captures the interaction between humans and the technology they use to support their decision-making within the domain of Information Fusion. We are particularly interested in characterising the interaction between human decision makers and artefacts in semi-automated fusion processes. LÄS MER

  5. 10. Visual Object Tracking and Classification Using Multiple Sensor Measurements

    Författare :Yixiao Yun; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; sensor fusion; Riemannian manifold; visual pattern classification; multiple view geometry; Visual object tracking; boosting; multiple sensor measurement;

    Sammanfattning : Multiple sensor measurement has gained in popularity for computer vision tasks such as visual object tracking and visual pattern classification. The main idea is that multiple sensors may provide rich and redundant information, due to wide spatial or frequency coverage of the scene, which is advantageous over single sensor measurement in learning object model/feature and inferring target state/attribute in complex scenarios.
