  1. 1. Mellan policy och praktik : En studie om nyanlända elevers pedagogiska och sociala inkludering i skolan

    Författare :Denis Tajic; Nihad Bunar; Anna Lund; Mirjam Hagström; Johannes Lunneblad; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Newly arrived students; pedagogical inclusion; social inclusion; organizational models; safe start; the inclusion formula; the civil sphere; conviviality; institutional habitus; equal education; policy enactment; collectivizing strategies; barn- och ungdomsvetenskap; Child and Youth Studies;

    Sammanfattning : The overall aim of the thesis is to investigate how schools’ formal and informal structures affect the pedagogical and social inclusion of newly arrived students, as well as how newly arrived students in grades 7-9 and school staff themselves understand and handle these structures. Formal structures refer to forms of pedagogical measures for newly arrived students. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Study of Non-metallic Inclusion in Alloy 825

    Författare :Hans Kellner; Andrey Karasev; Pär Jönsson; Guozhu Ye; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Alloy 825; FeTi70R alloy; non-metallic inclusions; inclusion distribution; clusters; electromagnetic and gas stirring; ladle treatment; electrolytic extraction; stirring directions; Alloy 825; FeTi70R legering; icke-metalliska inneslutningar; inneslutnings fördelning; kluster; elektromagnetisk och gas omrörning; skänkugnsbehandling; elektrolytisk extraktion; omrörningshåll; Metallurgical process science; Metallurgisk processvetenskap; Steel Forming and Surface Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : It is well known that inclusions affect the properties of steels and alloys. Therefore, it is important to understand what type of inclusions that exist and how they behave and especially with a focus on large size inclusions. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Influence of microstructure on fatigue and ductility properties of tool steels

    Författare :Mats Randelius; Rolf Sandström; Jens Bergström; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Tool steels; fatigue; ductility; carbides; carbide cluster; inclusion; size distribution; modelling; FEM; Metallurgical process engineering; Metallurgisk processteknik;

    Sammanfattning : Fatigue and ductility properties in various tool steels, produced by powder metallurgy, spray forming or conventionally ingot casting, have been analysed experimentally and successfully compared to developed models. The models are able to predict the fatigue limit and cause for fatigue fracture, and strain- and stress-development until fracture during the ductile fracture process respectively. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Planning Models for Single Wire Earth Return Power Distribution Networks

    Författare :Geofrey Bakkabulindi; Lennart Söder; Mikael Amelin; Peiyuan Chen; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :Rural electrification; power distribution planning; Single Wire Earth Return; distribution power flow; power system modeling; SRA - Energy; SRA - Energi;

    Sammanfattning : The high cost of grid extension to rural areas, often characterized by scattered communities with low load densities, requires the use of low cost electrification technologies to ensure economic viability. In Single Wire Earth Return (SWER) power distribution networks, the earth itself forms the current return path of the single phase system leading to significant cost savings on conductors, poles and poletop hardware compared to conventional systems. 5. 5. On the hosting capacity of distribution networks for solar power

    Författare :Enock Mulenga; Math Bollen; Nicholas Etherden; Luis (Nando) Ochoa; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Aleatory; distribution networks; epistemic; hosting capacity; overvoltage; solar power; stochastic; Electric Power Engineering; Elkraftteknik;

    Sammanfattning : The future will bring changes in energy production and consumption that will affect the performance of electricity distribution networks. Electric vehicle charging will increase consumption; the installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) units will increase production. Both will change the energy flow and affect the power quality. LÄS MER
