    Sammanfattning : Breast cancer is the most common form of cancer among Swedish women. The incidence has increased since the beginning of the 1970s. Simultaneously the age-standardized mortality has been relatively constant, which is probably explained by earlier tumour detection as a result of improved diagnostic methods and treatment advances.
