1. Catalysis in Dynamic Systems: Control within Molecular Reaction Networks
Sammanfattning : Life as we know it is based on complex networks of biochemical reactions that constantly interact within large dynamic systems. The field of systems chemistry uses chemical models to study how reaction networks – and thereby life – function on a molecular level. LÄS MER
2. Dynamic Systems : Enzymatic Synthesis, Exchange Reactions and Applications in Materials Science
Sammanfattning : This thesis is divided into three parts, revolving around the developments of dynamic systems utilized in dynamic kinetic resolution (DKR) and constitutional dynamic chemistry (CDC).The first section gives an introduction to constitutional dynamics, the core concept of this thesis. LÄS MER
3. Ruthenium-catalyzed hydrogen transfer involving amines and imines : Mechanistic studies and synthetic applications
Sammanfattning : This thesis deals with ruthenium-catalyzed hydrogen transfer involving amines and imines and is divided into two parts. In Part 1 a mechanistic study has been performed. LÄS MER
4. Mechanistic Studies on Ruthenium-Catalyzed Hydrogen Transfer Reactions
Sammanfattning : Mechanistic studies on three different ruthenium-based catalysts have been performed. The catalysts have in common that they have been employed in hydrogen transfer reactions involving alcohols and ketones, amines and imines or both. LÄS MER
5. Polyhydroxyl and Polyphosphorylcholine functionalized Silica for Hydrophilic interaction liquid Chromatography- Synthesis, characterization and application
Sammanfattning : This thesis focuses on the development of new stationary phases for use in hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography using TRIS-based and phosphorylcholine typed monomers and porous silica particles as starting substrates. In this thesis, several ways of polymerizing highly hydrophilic monomers onto pore surfaces of silica supports are described, based on several “grafting from” schemes. LÄS MER
