  1. 6. Finger Joint Reconstruction with Rib Perichondrium

    Författare :Daniel Muder; Torbjörn Vedung; Nils Hailer; Ola Nilsson; Simon Farnebo; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; finger joint; reconstruction; cartilage; transplantation; osteoarthritis; Orthopaedics; Ortopedi;

    Sammanfattning : Difficulties in repairing and reconstructing articular cartilage damaged by trauma or disease remain unsolved and are one of the major challenges confronting orthopedic and hand surgeons in their clinical work. Relevant research has not adequately described the long-term clinical results, nor has it made a direct comparison to implant surgery after finger joint reconstruction with rib perichondrium. 2. 7. Image Reconstruction and Optical Flow Estimation on Image Sequences with Differently Exposed Frames

    Författare :Tomas Bengtsson; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; multiple camera settings; human visual system; super-resolution; optical flow; high dynamic range; digital camera system; image reconstruction; motion analysis; inverse problem;

    Sammanfattning : The main objective for digital image- and video camera systems is to reproduce a real-world scene in such a way that a high visual quality is obtained. A crucial aspect in this regard is, naturally, the quality of the hardware components of the camera device. There are, however, always some undesired limitations imposed by the sensor of the camera. 3. 8. Methods for Processing and Analysis of Biomedical TEM Images

    Författare :Amit Suveer; Ida-Maria Sintorn; Carolina Wählby; Natasa Sladoje; Jari Hyttinen; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; image analysis; image processing; deep learning; transmission electron microscopy; denoising; super-resolution reconstruction; registration; detection; Computerized Image Processing; Datoriserad bildbehandling;

    Sammanfattning : Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) has the high resolving capability and high clinical significance; however, the current manual diagnostic procedure using TEM is complicated and time-consuming, requiring rarely available expertise for analyzing TEM images of the biological specimen. This thesis addresses the bottlenecks of TEM-based analysis by proposing image analysis methods to automate and improve critical time-consuming steps of currently manual diagnostic procedures. 4. 9. Automatic Dense Reconstruction from Uncalibrated Video Sequences

    Författare :David Nister; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :Structure from Motion; Calibration; Match Moving; Reconstruction; Video; Computer Vision; Auto-calibration; Augmented Reality; Virtual Reality; Image-based Rendering; Visualisation; Camera Calibration; Motion Estimation;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis describes a system that completely automaticallybuilds a three-dimensional model of a scene given a sequence ofimages of the scene. The system also estimates the internalparameters of the camera and the poses from where the originalimages were taken. LÄS MER
