1. Structural aspecs on compounds in the CsI-(Cd/Hg)I2 system
Sammanfattning : Structural investigations of compounds in the CsI-(Cd/Hg)I2 system have been performed by means of X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetric and calorimetric techniques. Crystals of the compounds studied were synthesized from aqueous solutions of CsI and CdI2/HgI2 by the slow evaporation of water. LÄS MER

4. Solid-State NMR Characterization of Lipid Membranes
Sammanfattning : This thesis deals with the study of lipid bilayer systems by solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance. Two-dimensional 1H-13C separated local field experiments under magic-angle spinning were employed to investigate structural and dynamical modifications of cell membranes, resulting from the addition of compounds with some biological relevance.
